History

The Alpha Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi was installed on February 2, 1924. Alpha Beta became the seventh Alpha Sigma Phi chapter at a Western or"Big Ten" Conference university. The Chapter was located at 603 E. College Sreet until 1920, then moved to its house at 109 River Street. The Chapter closed in 1940 as its members were part of draft.

Through many efforts, Alpha Beta officially rechartered on February 28, 2017. In August 2020 Alpha Beta expanded and relocated to 716 N Dubuque Street. We continue being an influence at the University by providing men with leadership skills, improved academics, and a great brotherhood.
